If you want to add some luxury in an occasion or simply in your life, to fill it with glamorous or vintage vibes – this tutorial is exactly what you need. Here you’ll find a step-by-step instruction explaining how to make a beaded chandelier at home. Not only is it easy to make but it also looks luxuriously. It’s one of the best things you can do yourself to decorate your place for the upcoming wedding.

What you need:

  1. Thick wire
  2. Thread of the same colour as beads
  3. Hook
  4. Scissors
  5. A string of beads (or simply beads with some thread/thin wire to string on)

Optional: you may want to paint the beads. In this case prepare some spray paint.

Note: A string of beads should be available in any drapery. As a chandelier hook you may use any hook available, whether for cloths/bags. You’ll find one in a big supermarket.

Step 1:

make a circle of the needed size from the wire.

Step 2:

fold the string of beads a few times.

Step 3:

Using thread, put together the top of your chandelier.

Step 4:

Repeat step 3 making the lower part of your chandelier.

Step 5:

attach this prepared work piece of beads to the circled wire. Arrange all the strings of beads evenly along the circled wire but close enough to each other.

Step 6:

after placing the beads along the circled wire put them together (if you’ve already prepared a few pieces) at the top of your chandelier and attach them to the hook.

Step 7:

tie the thread to the beads at the bottom of the chandelier and extend it all the way to the hook at the top. The thread should pass inside your chandelier, pulling the bottom inside and up, making it rounded at the bottom.

Note: you can attach the strings of beads to the wired basket to create even more beautiful and rounder chandelier bottom.

And the chandelier is ready!
